Notification of defects
The customer must check the goods for any defects immediately. If flaws or deviations of the quantity are realised, they have to be reported to Slouch Ltd, and they have to be set out in written form or electronically (via e-mail). Flaws of any kind must be reported within 3 days of receiving the goods. If this is not done, the delivered goods will be classified as correct regarding quantity and quality.
Damaged goods
If the customer receives damaged goods (damage through transport / manufacturing errors / missing parts etc.) he has the right to receive substitution without further costs. Damages have to be reported in written form or electronically (via e-mail) within 3 working days. If the customer fails to do so they may invalidate their claim
Refusal to Accept Delivery
If the customer refuses acceptance of delivery without our prior knowledge or is not in to accept the goods on the agreed date with the seller, he/she will be in breach of contract. As a direct result, the customer will be liable to pay complete freight costs, as well as excess charges that have been incurred by Slouch Ltd
Return transport
Return transport is chargable to the customer and must be arranged directly with Slouch Ltd. Arbitrary return transport by the self-importer as well as refusal to accept goods on delivery is also charged to the customer. The cheapest way of transporting will be chosen.
Returned goods must be in their original packaging and safe for transportation.
It is your responsibility.
If the goods are returned in poor packaging we will charge a 10% surgarge for repackaging of the item / items.
